Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has announced a large number of job openings for various positions in 2023. They are looking for Pakistani citizens from different regions such as KPK, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, FATA, and AJK. LESCO is a well-established company that distributes and provides electricity to millions of customers and employs thousands of people.
The current job openings at LESCO include positions such as Assistant Manager / Junior Engineer, Assistant Manager (Customer Services), Assistant Manager (Accounts), Assistant Manager (Civil), Assistant Manager (HR), Assistant Manager (Field Store), Assistant Manager (HRIS), Assistant Manager (Database Administration), and Assistant Managers in different departments. The ideal candidates should have a BSc / BE in electrical and electronics engineering or a Master’s degree in business administration, MSc, MA, M.Com, CA inter, ICMA inter, and BBA, with technical skills and a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
All of the positions have a quota allocation, and the age limit is up to 33 years. Women and disabled quotas are also observed. All appointments are on a contract basis, and the recruitment process will be done through the Open Testing Service (OTS). The minimum passing score for the written test is 50%.
Provincial quota, 10% women quota, 5% minority quota, and 2% disabled quota will be observed as specified in the advertisement. There is a general age relaxation, but there is no upper age relaxation. However, individuals from the scheduled casts and Buddhists are allowed a three-year age relaxation.
